StreetSpace in Ljubljana

News

The StreetSpace studio, led by Agustina Martire and Pat Wheeler, visited Ljubljana last week and held the StreetSpace workshop with local students, scholars and city officials.

The study trip was a great opportunity for students to closely study a street in Ljubljana and test the methods used in Belfast, with the help of local students and their tutors.

We studied Poljanska Cesta, a street off the city centre, with the collaboration of students from the School of Landscape Architecture from the University of Ljubljana, led by landscape architect and urban designer Darja Marincek. There were presentations by vice Mayor and city architect, Janez Koželj; Professor Tatjana Capuder; and Professor Marko Polič.

We thank our students for an enthusiastic, engaged and exciting study trip.
