Clancy Moore Exhibit in Close Encounter Exhibition

QUB Senior Lecturer Colm Moore will be presenting at the Close Encounter Symposium on Saturday 21st September at VISUAL Carlow. The symposium is coordinated in association with the exhibition Close Encounter: Meetings with Remarkable Buildings.
This day-long architecture symposium will be broken into four sessions: Remember Housing, The Forgotten Pleasure of the Familiar, Tradition & Individual Talent and, The Public Realm has History.
‘Remembering Housing’ – 9.30am – 11am

‘The Forgotten Pleasure of the Familiar’ – 11.30am – 1pm
Presented by Boyd Cody Architects, Steve Larkin, Noreile Breen and A2 Architects.
‘Tradition & Individual Talent’ – 2pm – 3.30pm
Presented by Kevin Donovan & Ryan W. Kennihan Architects, Dominic Stevens, JFOC, Heneghan Peng Architects and Carr Cotter & Naessens Architects.
‘The Public Realm has History – 4.15pm – 5.45pm
Presented by Bucholz McEvoy Architects, Tom DePaor, TAKA Architects, Donaghy + Dimond Architects.
Sessions will be chaired by Ellen Rowley, Emmett Scanlon, Hugh Campbell and Livia Hurley.
This symposium is organised by VISUAL on the occasion of the Close Encounter exhibition tour.
The Close Encounter tour is produced by the Irish Architecture Foundation in partnership with VISUAL Carlow and the Glucksman Cork.
