Grafton Architects: Petrina Tierney

Where are they now?

Petrina graduated from the Masters in Architecture at QUB in 2011 and was teaching assistant in the same programme for academic year 2012/2013. Before going into architectural practice she took up wood turning, a craft she is still honing. She has worked on social housing projects for offices in London and spent time in Munich working as a collaborator with Palais Mai Architekten on a mixed use housing competition.

Petrina moved to Dublin in 2015 and has worked for Grafton Architects since then. Whilst working here she has been involved in projects such as the ESB Headquarters, Dublin, Toulouse School of Economics and the Paul Marshall Building for the London School of Economics. Recently she has managed the tender and construction of a house in Howth, County Dublin, due to finish in the summer of 2020.
