Lecturer in Architecture
I am an urbanist with an interest in the urban landscape and the relationship between the built environment and society. I graduated as an architect at Universidad de Buenos Aires, earned a PhD degree in TU Delft on urban history and was an urban conservation post-doctoral researcher in UCD Dublin. Since 2010 I have been a lecturer in architecture at QUB running humanities modules in undergrad and postgrad and leading studios in first year and MArch. My research focuses on the analysis of urban environments through their history, heritage and morphology. I specifically study the relationship between urban public space and transportation infrastructure, now focusing on streets as public spaces.
