Ruth Morrow

Professor of Architecture, Director of Impact (SNBE)

Ruth is Professor of Architecture and SNBE Director of Impact. Her research centres on the interconnections and potentials between people, place and creativity. It ranges across design pedagogy, urban activism and material development and is defined by an ethos of inclusion, design excellence and collaboration. Ruth is an advocate of Live Projects, founding Street Society in 2010: a one week event involving 100+ students working in post-conflict contexts. Ruth’s teaching parallels her role as curatorial advisor on urban projects with the Belfast artist collective, PS2, and she is co-founder of Tactility Factory, an award winning material development company.
