Steve Larkin is a practicing musician and architect. He studied architecture at University College Dublin and graduated in 2002. He became a member of the Royal Institute of Architects of Ireland in 2005 and established Steve Larkin Architects in 2007. Since then the practice has been the recipient of a number of national and international awards and commendations including the RIAI Best Emerging Practice Award 2012. The practice was nominated for the Mies van der Rohe European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture 2013. The practice work has been published and exhibited worldwide. Steve was an EU Marie Curie ITN ADAPT-r Research Fellow at RMIT Europe 2014 – 2015 and was awarded his PhD by RMIT University Melbourne in 2017.
